Studios

Castaways’ stylish studio units feature a generous intimate space with living area, super king bed (or two singles), en suite bathroom and a kitchenette with cooking hob, microwave/convection oven, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Enjoy a restful sleep as you listen to the waves crash on the beach below. Each studio also has a private deck with ocean views, perfect for watching the sunset during a romantic escape.

Chalets

Castaways Resort’s spacious, private two-bedroom chalets offer panoramic views over Karioitahi beach. They include super king beds (or two singles) in two large bedrooms, full kitchen and laundry facilities, an open plan dining and lounge area, and balcony to enjoy the stunning west coast sunset. Each chalet can sleep up to four people in two bedrooms, with each bedroom having its own en suite. An ideal option for families, longs stays, and corporate or wedding guests.

DELUXE ChaletS

Introducing the Deluxe Chalets — our newly-upgraded chalets that feature stylish interior furnishings, modern bathroom ware and a contemporary kitchen, with spacious rooms and a true sense of privacy and comfort.

A Deluxe Chalet can sleep up to four people and features two super king beds (or two singles), ensuite bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry facilities, an open plan dining and lounge area, and balcony to enjoy a glass of bubbles with loved ones in front of the stunning elevated ocean views.

All room rates include a complimentary hot buffet breakfast.

KING ROOM

The King Room is in the villa complex and can only be reached by our complimentary buggy and the room adjoins the one bedroom villas.

If you're seeking the ultimate location to recharge your batteries and feel invigorated, Castaways Resort is a great choice. All of the generously-sized villas feature private decks with ocean views, television & WiFi internet. Please note the hotel rooms do not have a kitchen, only tea and coffee facilities

Please note: The walk from your King Room to Reception, Castaways Restaurant & Bar or the Main Clifftop Venue can take between 7 and 15 minutes depending on your King Room location and involves hilly terrain. For your convenience, a complimentary buggy service is available upon request.

Castaways Resort offers modern villas, positioned high above the main resort offering a unique escape. Experience ocean views from selected villas and enjoy a coastal getaway.

Our villas feature a full kitchen and laundry facilities, open plan dining, and lounge area. An ideal option for those wanting that extra special experience whether self-catering or taking advantage of the Resort’s extensive facilities.

We have 1, 2 & 3 bedroom villas available for your retreat.
